Bromley Arcade

Ever since this magical evening at David Bromley’s Wonderland-esque space in Prahran, and more recently after visiting his brilliant shed full of treasures in Daylesford, I have begun to realise that the best way to truly appreciate Bromley’s work is to immerse yourself in his world. Whilst we’ve all admired his hand-painted storybook characters and striking nudes in magazine spreads and books, it’s not until you are surrounded by Bromley’s paintings, sculptures, vintage furniture and collected ephemera from across the globe, that you really begin to understand and truly appreciate his limitless creative vision.

SO it makes total sense that Bromley’s work would have it’s very own gallery, where visitors can admire a curated collection of Bromley’s paintings, etchings, sculptures, ceramics and key collected pieces, all in one place. That place is the newly opened Bromley Arcade in Sydney’s Waterloo! A joint venture between Bromley and now Sydney-based Mark Tuckey, the Bromley Arcade brings a little of Bromley’s magic to Sydneysiders! Lucky them!
